What is Endometriosis ?

Endometriosis is a medical condition that occurs when the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus (called the endometrium) grows outside the uterus, on other organs or tissues in the pelvic region such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder, or bowel.
